During a one of its Direct livestreams, Nintendo showcased the first gameplay trailer of Fire Emblem Warriors.

Like Hyrule Warriors, the game will be developed by Omega Force and Team Ninja and co-published by Koei Tecmo.

Interestingly, we also got the announcement that the game won't be a Nintendo Switch exclusive, but will also come for New 3DS and New 3DS XL.

Apparently, the game is not compatible with older 3DS models. The accompanying press release also mentions only the "New" versions of the consoles, and a fine print caveat displayed during the livestream says "Game is only playable on a Nintendo Switch, New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL System." If you didn't update, and want to play this game, you will have to (or to get a Switch), otherwise you'll be out of luck.

Fire Emblem Warriors is currently slated for a release this Fall, during the Holiday season.

Wou can check out the trailer below, alongside the first images of the 3DS version at the bottom of the post.
