Today, the Japanese arm of Nintendo released two commercials for the Nintendo Switch themed after the upcoming Holiday season.

They have pretty much everything you'd expect from a Nintendo commercial, including the happy family celebrating Christmas, and the group of friends enjoying the console while on a skiing vacation.

Of course, this year around there is the portability factor added, so there are a lot of scenes in which the console is played outdoors, on the and the usual giant servings of smiles.

The Japanese holiday shopping season normally starts between te first and the second week of December, and goes all the way to the first week of January, when the tradition named "Otoshidama" prompts parents to deliver gift money to their kids on new year day.

If you want to get into the Holiday spirit Nintendo-style, you can check out both commercials below.

It'll be interesting to see how the Switch will perform in Japan during the Holidays, and if Nintendo will manage to have enough supply to satisfy demand. In the past few weeks, the pretty dire situation from a couple of months ago seems to have improved. In the meanwhile, the console appears to have done really well in the United States across Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
