The Nintendo Switch is merely days away from release, and alongside many of the system's most highly-anticipated titles like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and Super Mario Odyssey, the system will also be a great home to a variety of indie games.

As announced last week, Nintendo is airing its "Nindies Showcase" today, which will show off a variety of indie games that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch throughout the year following the system's launch this week.

While many smaller games like Snipperclips and I Am Setsuna are already expected to arrive with the system's release, it should be an interesting broadcast to show what kind of broader support that the Nintendo Switch will receive throughout the year, especially coming from indie developers.
