After being talked about prior to the Switch even being launched, Nintendo is finally preparing to launch its paid online service for the platform in September.

Ahead of this launch date, paid subscriptions for the service have recently appeared on retail sites. Currently, you can pick up a 12-month subscription for Nintendo Switch Online which only retails for $19.99. You'll also be able to purchase this membership within the Switch eShop itself once the service launches if you'd prefer this method.

As a reminder, once this service launches in September you won't be able to play games online with friends any longer unless you are subscribed to the service. In addition, you'll gain access to Nintendo's classic game selection along with being able to receive certain deals through the eShop.

If you'd like to ensure you'll have all of these benefits on launch day, you can purchase a Nintendo Switch Online 12-month voucher right now by heading over to Amazon and picking one up for only $19.99.
