After its release on March 3rd 2017, Nintendo's new Switch console has been severely supply constrained, and it has been fairly difficult to grab one in several areas. So much so, that retailers now send you press releases when they get new stock.

This is the case with GameStop, that just announced that select stores across the United States are getting additional units. Those will be made available for purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis in those stores that will be restocked.

The press release does not mention exactly when and where the new shipment will arrive, and encourages to check with your local store to see if they'll have any. Unfortunately, the console remains unavailable online on GameStop's portal. It's also still sold out at other major retailers like Amazon and Best Buy.

Incidentally, if you do have a Switch, or you manage to grab one, it just received the 3.0 firmware update. If you want to check out its upcoming games, you can see plenty of gameplay from E3 of Super Mario Galaxy, Splatoon 2, Fire Emblem Warriors (you can also read our preview), the new Yoshi gamePokkén Tournament DX, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
