During the Nintendo Switch reveal event from Tokyo, Grasshopper Manufacture CEO Goichi Suda AKA Suda 51 delivered a speech on the next game he will direct, which will star No More Heroes protagonist Travis Touchdown.

Unfortunately, the simultaneous translator didn’t manage to repeat what Suda-san said with much precision, coming up with an extremely condensed and slightly confusing translation, which resulted in inexact reports from quite a few media outlets. Reports stated that the game was announced as No More Heroes 3 or a No More Heroes sequel. That is definitely not confirmed at the moment, and it actually appear that the game will be completely new.

To be fair, this isn’t exactly the translator’s fault, as the speech was definitely very difficult to convey, with quite a bit of apparent ad-lib and challenging speech patterns. Considering the simultaneous nature of the translation, he certainly did his best.

That said, if you want to know what Suda-san actually said, YouTube user iYakku had plenty of time to go through the speech and translate it with a better degree of precision, delivering the actual message.
