The long-awaited Nintendo Switch is only four days away from release, and anticipation for the system is at an all-time high - luckily, if you weren't able to grab the console quickly from pre-sales, there are still some opportunities to get the system on Day One if you're willing to wait.

In a report from WWG, Target and Best Buy have both confirmed the retailers will have the Nintendo Switch in stock for its release this Friday on March 3rd, 2017 for non-preordered, walk-in purchases. Specifically, Best Buy will be hosting midnight launch events for the system on Friday at 12:01am local time, while Target will begin selling systems at 8am local time.

Given how quickly that pre-orders have been snatched up at these retailers and others (such as Amazon, GameStop, and more), it's a safe bet to say that these will be available in very limited quantities, so if you have any hope of grabbing the system on release on Friday, you might want to start getting in line pretty early for a chance to snag the system.

The Nintendo Switch will officially launch on Friday, March 3rd, 2017 for $299.99. Confirmed titles (so far) for the system's launch include the highly-anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild1-2-SwitchSnipperclips, and many more.
