Every Nintendo Switch player knows that finding online friends to play with can be a bit laborious. Who really has the time or patience to enter a long code to play with a buddy who you probably won't play that much with anyway due to them playing something else you don't have? Enter Reddit user u/bezzaton, who believes they have come up with the perfect solution for every Nintendo Switch owners multiplayer needs.

The Nintendo Switch fan, who was tired of waiting for Nintendo to come out with something similar, has created a website called Switcher.gg that is completely international and allows other Switch players to sign up through Discord, hence making it pretty simple to chat and message other gamers, and then enter the game you which to play and the site matches you to other folk who has the same game also wishing to match up and get down to some hard-core Mario tennis aces or whatever tickles your fancy. Almost like a Nintendo tinder!

I made a site to connect Switch players for online multiplayer and local co-op from r/NintendoSwitch

From some of the comments received by other Reddit users, as well as over 200 comments and 1.1k votes, it sure seems to be going down pretty well...

Although, there were some concerns over privacy policies with one user mentioning:

"You realize that you legally can't collect ANY information from players anywhere near the EU under the new GDPR laws without having a clear policy and cookie opt-out form, right???

It's illegal now."

But creator bezzaton was quick to fire in that he "added a privacy policy/TOS earlier today which covers pretty much everything"

Having signed up myself to see how easy the process was, I can actually report that in a few clicks I was able to add what games I owned and then see other Switch users who also have the same games and then I was able to add them without any hassle. Whether Nintendo will have some issues with the site and shut it down will remain to be seen, but for now, it really does seem like the most efficient and hassle-free way to find other Switch users for online play and local co-op
