It’s always nice to see a degree of sportmanship among console developers, and with today’s unveiling of Nintendo’s switch, positive comments came from the Xbox camp, and more specifically from Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer and Games Marketing Head Aaron Greenberg.

Spencer praised Nintendo’s ability to deliver a bold vision with its products.

Greenberg commented on the innovation expressed by the console and on the fun factor.

It’ll certainly be interesting to see how the industry will respond to the Switch, especially on the side of game developers and publishers. It’s not unlikely that we’ll see more game announcements in the next few days, but for now we can only stand-by and see.
