2013 was a big event year for The Big N, as the company celebrated the 30th birthday of everyone’s favorite little plumber brother, Luigi. While the year-long event started this past February and brought new Luigi-theme games, consoles, and accessories, it seems like the Luigi fun may not end necessarily in 2013.

In an interview with Siliconera, Reggie Fils-Aime answered a question in regard to the Year of Luigi and confirmed that the company still has a few more surprises left in store to carry over into the beginning of next year, mentioning that:

“There are some Year of Luigi activities that will continue into 2014 — including some of the special products that we’ve launched — so there will be some Luigi products to carry the Luigi banner into the next calendar year.”

With the release of New Super Luigi U, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, and the various other ways that Nintendo has celebrated Luigi, stay tuned for more details on how Nintendo will celebrate the end of Luigi’s year-long birthday party.
