The worlds of Nintendo’s games and franchises have always been bright, colorful, and full of wonder, though in the near future fans will get to experience them first-hand with new details on the attractions in store at Universal Studios’ theme parks around the world.
In a new video, Nintendo shared some new details and updates on its upcoming attractions that will arriving at Universal Studios’ Theme Parks and Resorts. Featuring Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, the company revealed that new attractions based around several of its most popular games and franchises will be coming to Universal Studios not only in Japan, but also to the theme park locations in Orlando, Florida and Hollywood, California.
Nintendo previously announced a partnership with Universal Studios earlier this year to bring its most beloved properties to the Universal Studios location in Osaka, Japan, though the video now confirms that the attractions will also be making their way to the US.
Specific details on the attractions are still a bit vague, though Miyamoto and Universal Studios’ creative head Mark Woodbury shared their visions for the upcoming attractions and how they will offer an experience that is “expansive, immersive, and interactive.”
No specific timeline for the Nintendo-themed attractions’ opening has been revealed, other than that the new areas will “open separately over the next several years.” In the meantime, you can check out a new video from Nintendo on their upcoming Universal Studios’ attractions below:
