Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced PS4 exclusive Nioh 2 will be getting a Last Chance Trial demo ahead of its release. The demo is time-limited and will be playable from February 28 to March 1. The announcement was made via the Nioh Japanese official Twitter account, and was escorted by a short teaser video:

This demo will include new bosses and stages not seen in past demos. Moreover, it'll let you transfer the character you created to the final game. However, it only transfers part of the system save from the demo itself, meaning you can't grind for the main game in the demo. However, you can use the demo to create your character, so you'll be able to jump in the action right away when the full game rolls out.

Lastly, clearing the first mission of the demo and transferring your character to the main game will net you the "Kamaitachi helmet" item through DLC in the main game. This DLC will only be redeemable for a limited time, so those who unlocked it should be careful to not forget to claim it in the full game.
