Nioh 2 Update 1.27 - List of Fixed Bugs on PS4 and PS5

PS4 and PS5 players can now get rid of some annoying bugs in Nioh 2 with the new update.

Koei Temco and Team Ninja officially launched the latest update for The Nioh Collection on both PS4 and PS5 consoles lately. The Nioh 2 1.27 update first launched on PC last week, adding Keyboard & Mouse support to the game, while fixing a bunch of bugs. The console version of the same update strictly focuses on wiping out bugs, especially in the PS5 version. Below, you can have a look at the full patch notes of the Nioh 2 1.27 update.

Nioh 2 Update 1.27 – PS4 Version:

  • Fixed an issue where The Jasper of Righteousness could become unusable
  • Other minor bugs fixed

Nioh 2 Update 1.27 – PS5 Version:

  • Fixed an issue where The Jasper of Righteousness could become unusable
  • Fixed an issue where advance input was not working when the fire button on a ranged weapon was set to L2 or R2
  • Fixed ™ that some additional content already available in the PS4 version would not drop when taking over save game to the PS5 version
  • Fixed an issue where certain enemies’ “Big Tricks” could not be returned with “Special Ability” when “Game Mode” was in “120fps Mode”
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the operation to slow down when “Game Mode” is in “120fps Mode”
  • Other minor bugs fixed

Nioh 2 Update 1.27 – PC Version:

  • Compatible with keyboard and mouse
    button icon display You can switch between “System” ⇒ “Keyboard and ⇒ Settings” and “Icon Display”.
  • Fixed an issue where certain enemies’ “Great Tricks” could not be returned with “Special Ability” when “Max FPS” was 120
  • Further improved the problem that frame rate is likely to decrease when “Effect quality” is set to “High” in “Graphics settings”
  • Changed to enable shadows in cutscenes when “Shadows” in “Graphics Settings” is “Disabled”
  • Fixed an issue where fog in the stage could appear brighter than expected
  • Fixed desktop resolution of 1366×768 to be selected in a 1360×768 desktop environment
  • Changed the contents that can be set in “Keyboard and Mouse Settings” ⇒ “Key Compig” for camera operation with the mouse in “Photo Mode”
  • Fixed an issue where some effects of the cut scene “Invitation to Genpei War” were not displayed.
  • Fixed a display issue with the dragon ninja.
  • Fixed not including window menus in image data copied to the clipboard when twitter posting with appearance settings
  • Other minor bugs fixed

The next-gen version of Nioh 2 Complete Edition launched later last month on PS5 and PC. The game supports high-resolution screens and runs on higher frame rates in Sony’s next-gen console and PS5.

The Nioh Collection is now available on PS4 and PS5. While PC players have access to both Nioh 1 and Nioh 2 Complete Edition, there’s currently no collection available on this platform. This means you should get the games separately if you want both.
