Today Koei Tecmo updated the official site of its action game NiOh with a batch of screenshots and key artwork of the upcoming story DLC Defiant Honor.

The DLC will see William and his new ally Date Masamune pitched against Sanada Yukimura and the forces of the Toyotomi Clan at the siege of Osaka in 1615.

The screenshots showcase Sanada Maru, the fortress built by Sanada Yukimura to defend Osaka against the Tokugawa clan. We also get to see the new guardian spirits that will come with the DLC. One of them looks definitely like a Kirin, which is pretty appropriate to the iconic antlers displayed on Yukimura’s kabuto (samurai helm).

On top of that, the DLC will come with a new story, new characters, new yokai, new weapons and new stages. It will be released exclusively for PS4  on July 25th.
