Koei Tecmo just announced that NiOh will receive a free content update that will bring new challenges to the game. The update is already out in Japan, and should be released in the west soon.

First of all, ten new missions will be included, accessible at different points of the story. Among the missions, players will be able to challenge two disciples of Kensei and Kamiizumi Nobutsuna, Yagyu Munetoshi and Hozoin In'ei. On top of that, another mission will include a fight against a large boss yokai and his retinue of smaller yokai.

Completing the missions will award players with new new titles and smithing texts.

The update will also come with several fixes and adjustments to improve the quality of gameplay.

NiOh is currently available exclusively for PS4.
