Today Koei Tecmo showcased new gameplay of the upcoming PS4 exclusive NiOh during a stage event hosted by Sony Interactive Entertainment at Taipei Game Show.

The live gameplay, presented by Game Director Fumihiko Yasuda (who wasn’t playing, for once), shows a boss battle against the Kijo boss, that lurks at the end of the Futamata stage. Both the stage and the boss were introduced back at the beginning of December.

NiOh will release in North America on February 7th, published directly by Sony Interactive Entertainment. European gamers will have to wait until February 8th, while Japanese gamers  will get the game last, on February 9th.

If you want to play the game before it launches (including the boss battle showcased here), you can already download a the “Last Chance” demo, that will become active at midnight between January 20th and January 21st and will be available only for 48 hours. You can also check out a new trailer here.
