Today Koei Tecmo showcased a large amount of gameplay of the upcoming PS4 exclusive by Team Ninja NiOh, which looks really fantastic.

You can check out the gameplay in the video below, starting at the 00:37:00 mark, culminating with a boss battle made the player’s hands sweat on the DualShock 4 controller, and I mean literally: just check it out after the end of the gameplay part at 01:04:15.

We also get the reveal of the two helmets that will be granted as a bonus to those who cleared respectively the alpha and the beta versions of the game. You can see them in the pictures at the bottom of the post.

At the 01:14:55 mark we get another segment of gameplay showing both helmets in game, and how you can apply the appearance of a piece of equipment to another, in order to have William armed and armored in the most effective way, but also with the style you prefer.

During the livestream, we also get a reminder about the deluxe edition and pre-order bonuses, and the confirmation of the four modes that will be available on PS4 Pro.

Why Ratchet & Clank is the Most Important PS5 Game

NiOh is set to launch exclusively for the PS4 on February 9th, and another livestream will show more gameplay on December 20th.

But without further ado, I leave you with the video.

RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
