NiOh, the brutally challenging action RPG developed by Team Ninja, released earlier this year on PS4 and has received plenty of additions through updates and paid DLC.

Recently, patch notes for the NiOh 1.16 update have been shared, alongside the release of the patch itself, including a skill-based PvP mode. In this mode, all gear and skills will be automatically rebalanced making each encounter more skill-based rather than relying on stats.

Other changes include a level cap increase to level 550, increased Amrita gain from level 500 enemies and over. English and Japanese patch notes were published within the game, and you can check them out at the bottom of the post.

Team Ninja continues to pump out the post launch support and this latest patch is one in a steady stream of updates and post launch support since the game released back in February.

Last week, NiOh received its second DLC pack called Defiant Honor, which takes William to the Siege of Osaka in the winter of 1614. The pack includes a new location, new difficulty levels, weapons, gear and much more.
