Today the Japanese developer Nippon Ichi Software announced that it will host a 25th anniversary livestream on Saturday, July 15th.

The livestream will start at 2 PM Japan time, and will be broadcasted on Nico Nico. It's scheduled to last about 90 minutes.

Nippon Ichi President Souhei Niikawa will be present, alongside  Australian-Japanese voice actress Sarah Emi Bridcutt, who voiced Seraphina in Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance.

According to the press release from the company, that Nippon Ichi sent to DualShockers, the livestream will present various events happening in the near future, on top of new games.

It'll certainly be interesting to see what kind of games Nippon Ichi Software has in store for the future.

Times might be mature for a new Disgaea, which Niikawa-san mentioned could likely come to Nintendo Switch. The presence of Birdcutt-san at the event might be a hint to that, even if this is just speculation for now.

In the meanwhile, the North American branch of the company, NIS America, has recently made quite a few announcement at Anime Expo, including Penny Punching Princess and the Switch version of The Longest Five Minutes but remained silent on the localization of Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain, which will launch in Japan in September.
