Nippon Ichi Software teased via "Guerilla Live" on June 10 a brand new game release. Hints on the game's identity were streamed at specific hours on YouTube (12:00 JST, 15:00 JST, 18:00 JST) and the streams purposefully has no archive, forcing people to watch it live. Nippon Ichi Software also encouraged fans to discuss the new game on Twitter using the #日本一ソフトウェア新作予想 hashtag. Moreover, those who correctly guess the game will enter a lottery to win a copy at release. The Guerilla Live was also described by Nippon Ichi Software as a special stream part of its usual Yurutto Nippon Ichi streams.

One of the lives showed a hamster running in its wheel.

Some on Twitter are also believing it could be a new game, a remaster or a remake from the Marl Oukoku (Marl Kingdom) series: Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, Little Princess: Marl Oukoku no Ningyou Hime 2, and Tenshi no Present: Marl oukoku Monogatari.

Another possibility would be a new IP, as Nippon Ichi Software regularly releases some each year. One already available is the crossdressing game Bokuhime Project, available on PS4 and Switch since April 23 in Japan, with no western release announced. Then we have the action RPG with a touch of Persona 5 and Qix clones, Shoujo Jigoku no Doku Musume, coming to PS4 and Switch on June 25 in Japan. Lastly we have the horror + yuri visual novel Yoru Tomosu launching on July 30, on PS4 and Switch.

It's highly likely this new game by NIS will also be launching on PS4 and Switch.

Update: On June 11, Nippon Ichi opened a teaser site for the game, showing a mice nailed to some experimentation table.
