The recent release of No Man's Sky Beyond has been a great success for Sean Murray and everyone at Hello Games. The update has expanded the multiplayer and increased the capacity for social interactions. Most importantly though, the update has made the entire game fully playable in VR.

According to Sean Murray over on the PlayStation Blog, it would only be fitting that they bundle the updates onto a shiny new disc. The new physical version of No Man's Sky Beyond will be available to buy in North America on September 10 and Europe on September 11.

The free update (if you already owned the game) has been an incredible success and continues to build upon the game. No Man's Sky continues to be one of the most interesting and best redemption stories in video games. When it first released, many players felt lied to and mislead from the game's marketing and how Sean Murray portrayed the game. After the initial backlash, everyone at Hello Games went dark and quite a bit of time had passed before they reemerged with an update that had solved many issues players had with the game.  It just goes to show in today's gaming world, even if a game flops at initial release, it can become a success over time.

No Man's Sky Beyond is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Sean Murray has also expressed some interest in bringing the game to the Nintendo Switch.
