No Man’s Sky Developers Experimenting With Virtual Reality

After impressing everyone at the VGX with No Man’s Sky, Hello Games was hit by a string of bad luck that caused their offices to be flooded twice. Finally things seem to be looking up: today they received their Oculus Rift headsets and immediately started experimenting, as they mentioned on Twitter:

Received our new VR headsets today! So excite! Putting gaming laptop into backpack, with headset attached, so we can run about WIRELESSLY.

Problem! There are less steps in the stairs in this VR demo, than there are in our office. Will probably be fine.

Below you can also see three Vine videos showing the tests, and I’m quite sure I’m not the only one that feels that No Man’s Sky would be just the perfect killer application for virtual reality.
