The eagerly awaited No Man's Sky will be releasing for PS4 on August 9 for North American territories and August 10 for Europe while the PC version has been announced to release August 12 worldwide. However some players have already begun playing the game before launch by acquiring leaked copies of the game or receiving early pre-order deliveries. These early players have already started exploring and discovering and some even claim to have reached the center of the procedurally generated universe already.  However this progress will not last as Hello Games Coder Harry Denholm announced though Twitter:

The post came as a response to Kotaku having acquired an early copy of No Man's Sky and announcing that players would be able to find their planet in-game. However, due to the server wipe, that planet will no longer exist. The servers will be reset on August 7 and it is still unclear if players will have access before the official launch on August 9.
