Maybe it was due to the fact that lawsuits aren’t the best way to promote a business, or maybe it was seeing Kurt Cobain do anything besides Nirvana that sent Activision over the edge. But it appears that they’ve learned their lesson. No more celebrities in Guitar Hero.

Artists like Jon Bon Jovi, No Doubt, and Courtney love spoke out over the use of likenesses in the game and the latest issue of Game Informer says that not one celebrity will be playable in Guitar Hero 6. Celebrities will still appear, like Gene Simmons will be narrating, but no more celebs doing horrible impressions.
