No, Seriously, David Hayter will NOT be in Metal Gear Solid V

As you may know, David Hayter, the original (and classic) voice of Metal Gear Solid protagonist “Snake”, has been replaced by veteran Hollywood actor Kiefer Sutherland in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. This hasn’t stopped fans asking him if he’ll be returning however. It seems as if mister Hayter is fed up with the questions and took to Twitter to end them once and for all.

Here is what he posted today:

That’s pretty definitive if you ask me.

Personally speaking, I would have liked to have seen Hayter back to doing the voice of Snake but Sutherland does a great job so it isn’t like the series will fall apart because of his absence. Also, this decision is one that we as fans, and even David, have no control over. It’s best to leave this subject, and mister Hayter alone.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released sometime in the future. Check out my hands-off preview of it as well as the thirty minute video that was shown during E3 2014.
