THQ Nordic and Weappy studio revealed a follow up to their 2016 release This is the Police titled This is the Police 2 bringing the new noir-adventure to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2018.

This is the Police 2 takes players to the town of Sharpwood, which is a tight-knit community where everybody knows each other and traditions are held faithfully over the generations, some of which may seem barbaric. Evidentially, smugglers, gangs, and screaming populists have made this town their home and despair slowly grows.

Players will assume the role of Lilly Reed, voiced by Sarah Hamilton, as she begins her journey as the new sheriff. Her job is to maintain order and peace, which proves difficult given that her comrades are not the most reliable bunch and don’t take orders well. Things start to become mysterious when a stranger comes to town calling himself Warren Nash, but it’s to be seen what he will bring to the town: salvation or perdition.

In This is the Police 2, players will find a mixture of adventure and management systems that will require the player to be both strategic and tactical about their choices. Managing equipment is only one system of the game and players must also keep in mind the skills of the other policemen. During challenges, players will need to utilize their resources and take into account living people with their own strengths, weaknesses, fears, and prejudices as they make choices throughout the game.
