Noita is finally out today after spending quite a bit of time in early access. The game is another roguelike to add to the gigantic heap of new games in the genre that have released this year. However, Noita does a few things that make it stand out from the crowd. Most notably is how they're simulating every pixel to give players some truly wild interactions. But don't take my word for it. Just watch the launch trailer below for a look at all the hijinks you can get up to.

I was fortunate enough to play a bit of Noita's final build before release. So, I can confirm that Nolla Games' latest is absolutely crazy. The way the different systems interact and the randomized-wands ensure that no two runs will be exactly the same. As you can see in the trailer, it's a magical explosion of elements. It might not be the perfect game for everybody, but it's something everyone needs to at least give a look.

The trailer also gives a look at where some of the depth comes from in Noita. While your wands are randomized, you can take spells from one wand and transfer them to another. This lets you better customize your weapon around your playstyle and needs. From my early time with the game it definitely seems like getting a handle on wand-building is going to be super important.

Noita is out now on PC. Currently, it isn't announced for anywhere else, but, like most indies, this seems destined for a Nintendo Switch release.
