Explore the Nordic Wilderness with God of War’s Cory Barlog and Chris Judge
Watch two men trek through the unforgiving wilderness of the Nordic mountainside and reflect on the journey of God of War's development.
There isn’t much more that can be said about God of War after it’s amazing review scores and sales across the board. The game has proven itself to be an incredible undertaking and feat, received fondly by both fans and critics alike.
As Sony continues to pump out videos of behind-the-scenes content from the Santa Monica team, we get to see God of War game director Cory Barlog and Kratos’ English performance and voice actor Chris Judge take a poignant journey to the Nordic wilderness to reflect on their own journey throughout the series.
It’s a great journey, indeed. In the midst of the harsh, snowy wilderness, the two men reflect on Kratos’ journey from a young embodiment of rage to a quiet figure struggling to balance the calm that he seeks and the rage that brews within him. Barlog and Judge examine how much of their lives have been wrapped up in the game’s development, both in its most recent incarnation and in earlier games in the series, and in a bittersweet end, they say that they can only sit back and let the game fly on its own merits.
And fly God of War did! God of War officially on April 20th exclusively for PS4. If you haven’t purchased it yet, you click here to purchase it on Amazon. You can check out our own glowing review of the game here.
