November Is a Pokémon Month According to NPD Results, While PS4 Is the Top Selling Home Console
NPD released its monthly sales figures for the United States today, and we learn that Pokémon Sun and Moon was at the top of the chart, beating Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare if you count the two versions of the game combined.
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
- Battlefield 1
- Pokémon Sun*
- Pokémon Moon*
- Titanfall 2
- NBA 2K17
- Madden NFL 17
- Watch_Dogs 2
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim*
- FIFA 17
Titles marked by an asterisk don’t have their digital sales counted (which makes the chart kind of irrelevant, but that’s what we get).

PS4 was the best selling home console, with the Uncharted 4/PS4 Slim bundle taking 30% of all hardware sales. This is a reversal from the past four months, in which Microsoft managed to inch ahead with the Xbox One.
3DS sales were also strong, 59% higher year-on-year, marking the sixth month of growth in a row, while the NES Classic sold 196,000 units in November.
