Microsoft’s Chief of Staff for Devices and Studios Group Aaron Greenberg mentioned across a couple tweets that according to NPD the Xbox One sold 909,132 units in the first nine days in North America, with an attach rate of two games sold per unit, which is definitely not too shabby.

Xbox Live’s Director of Programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb also announced that the Xbox One is the “fastest selling” next generation console with 101,000 units sold in average per day in North America.

Turns out that (as with almost every NPD report) Microsoft is celebrating, Sony is celebrating, so since everyone is celebrating we may want to celebrate as well. Now, where’s the Champagne?
