It seems like Nvidia is already preparing to announce and launch RTX 40 graphics card series in 2022 as early as the first half of Q3, as a leaker claims.

Despite AMD's huge effort in competing against Nvidia in the GPU market, Jensen Huang and his team at Nvidia still have a more share of the market compared to AMD. Similar to the RTX 30 series, Nvidia will probably announce the higher-tier cards first. It's yet to be seen how many models would be available at launch, but if the plan goes in accordance with RTX 30 series, we could expect the announcement of RTX 4070 and RTX 4080 for this Summer, at least. RTX 4090 and RTX 4060 GPUs, if exist, could be revealed later.

There is no information on the price tag of the new GPUs, but you can expect them to be swept from the market as soon as they become available for pre-order, much similar to the launch of the RTX 30 series.
