People have been losing their minds over the 3DS battery life since it was revealed to be around 3-5 hours long, and rightfully so. That’s a pitiful time for a handheld console to hold a charge, especially one that runs in 3D and will wirelessly stream Netflix. Luckily Nyko has us covered.
March 27th, the same day the 3DS will be available in stores, Nyko will release the Power Pak+ which reportedly doubles the console’s battery life. The battery itself will cost a mere $19.99, but shortly after Nyko will also release the Nyko Charge Base, a cradling doc for charging the Power Pak+ and also comes with one, for just $10 more.
If this peripheral works as well as Nyko says it does I’ll be picking it up day one.
