Obscure Japanese Fighter Phantom Breaker Confirmed for North American Release. Also, Pigs Fly

on January 5, 2012 8:00 PM

There is only one other piece of news that has been posted about Phantom Breaker on this site and that news is from November of 2010. That is how low key the 5pb developed fighter has been since its reveal, but amazingly, we have received confirmation that the title will be released  in North America. This news is made less shocking by the fact that the game was released exclusively to the Xbox 360 in Japan last year. You read that correctly.

In addition to this great news, we also have an announcement trailer which allows you to see the game in action. 5pb has also released a batch of screens of the game, which can also be found behind the break. Furthermore, both regular and special edition versions of the game will be available. The special edition version appears to come equipped with the game, a calendar, a “mini-guide”, a very interesting looking case sleeve, and some sort of posters and/or art-cells.

No pricing details are available on that SE yet and there’s no word on a release window yet either but the screens and trailer are behind the break.
