The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is definitively one of the most notable video games ever created. Whether you think that the game is a masterpiece or that it doesn't stand the test of time, there is no argument that it is a major part of gaming history. Well, that game some of us know and love has been flipped on its head with this new mod that introduces Co-Op.

OoT Online began development last year with only a few members of its small team. The goal was to recreate the classic game in a multiplayer environment. While the mod only supports two players right now, there are plans to support up to 15 players at once. Take a look at the mod in the video below.

Right now, there are only PvE elements tied toward the game. However, the team is looking to provide a PvP element later on in the future.

It is definitely weird to see another Link running around the same environment of Hyrule as you. I have completed this game more times than I can count and weird mods like this or new found speedrun methods always pique my interest. If you want to follow the development progress, you can do so through the team's Twitch channel.
