With its release last year, the lovable (but completely uncoordinated) Octodad scrambled, fell, and finagled his way into our hearts through developer Young Horses’ Octodad: Dadliest Catch, with the goofy physics simulator heading to new consoles in the future.
Young Horses confirmed that Octodad: Dadliest Catch will be releasing for Xbox One on August 26th, 2015, marking the first appearance of the title on the Xbox consoles following its previous releases on PlayStation platforms and PC. The Xbox One version will also include the previously released Octodad: Shorts DLC for free.
In addition, Young Horses confirmed that Dadliest Catch will release for the Wii U in the near future: the title is currently undergoing certification with Nintendo at this time, with a release date to be announced in the near future.
Octodad: Dadliest Catch is currently available for PS4, PS Vita, PC, Mac, and Linux – the Xbox One version will release on August 26th, 2015, while the Wii U version is expected in the near future.
