This week marks an exciting one in the worlds of gaming, technology, and more as the long-awaited Oculus Rift virtual headset has officially begun releasing to the masses, with the device’s first shipments being delivered today.
A new blog post on the Oculus website detailed that Kickstarter units will begin arriving today, while the first wave of pre-ordered Oculus units will begin shipping mid-week and “arrive soon after.”
The company explained that it is “working as fast as we can” to deliver Oculus pre-orders, with pre-ordering customers to receive an email once the unit is out for delivery.
