Stardock and Mohawk Games released the first of many gameplay video for Offworld Trading Company's upcoming Jupiter's Forge expansion today, which deals with the buildings players can use on Io, the planet introduced in the DLC.

The first new building is the Ion Collector. While it requires a lot of energy to use, but collects a lot of hydrogen fuel from Io's atmosphere. The Solar Condenser can now also harvest the oxide ice found on the moon's surface. Water Processors have been added, and can take in fuel and oxygen and convert them to water. The Basalt Platform allows players to refine the titular Basalt into iron, uranium, and silicon.

Players' corporations will now also be able to build Space Elevators as an advanced structure, which is used to ship reasources offworld. Three new patents are also available for players: Nuclear Engine, Geothermal Borehole, and Synthetic meat.
