When it originally released in 2016, the adventure game Firewatch not only stood out for its unique story and compelling narrative, but also stood out for a unique art style that truly captured the look and beauty of the American frontier, with one of the game’s lead creatives set to bring his art to Valve.

Graphic designer and artist Olly Moss, who served as one of the main artists on Campo Santo’s Firewatch, revealed that he will be working at Valve in the near future, presumably to head up art (in some capacity) on the studio’s new upcoming projects.

While no other details about Moss’ role at Valve were revealed just yet, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that Moss would be joining Valve after Campo Santo–the developer behind Firewatch and the upcoming In the Valley of Godswas acquired by the company to work on new projects, while continuing development on In the Valley of Gods.

Aside from his work on Firewatch, Moss has been known internationally for a variety of illustrations and graphic design projects such as cover designs for J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter novels, while having also done the cover art for Insomniac Games’ Resistance 3.
