This week, OMEN by HP and FACEIT have announced a new eSports tournament, the OMEN UK Open.

According to the companies, the OMEN UK Open is a brand-new tournament that will last for six months. Featuring gamers who will face off in various matches in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive with a total prize pool of $30,000, with $12,500 of that in cash and $17,500 of OMEN by HP hardware up for grabs.

The OMEN UK Open will allow all Counter-Strike: Global Offensive solo players and teams to partake with the qualifiers is set to begin on April 15. The opening stage is split into eight preliminary rounds, afterward, a two-month-long league of play will commence, with the tournament set to conclude with the open finals, which will be held on November 17 and 18.

Additionally, OMEN will also be hosting the OMEN UK Open Community Caster Challenge, an initiative, which will provide talented commentators an opportunity to snag $2,500 worth of OMEN HP hardware, as well as a viable chance to provide commentary for the OMEN UK Open Final.
