OMGWTFBBQ: Anarchy Reigns May Be Delayed into Next Year

Anarchy Reigns, the multiplayer debut of famed developer Platinum Games, has been pushed back into next year, according to the game’s official Japanese website. The launch window was updated from Fall of this year to January of next year, indicating a three-to-four month delay or longer. However, there hasn’t been an official word on this from SEGA yet, and the publisher gets the final say so.

If the game was to be delayed for such a great amount of time, it would be extremely disappointing news as it means an even longer wait for out chance to play the studio’s first ever multiplayer title. I have very high hopes for this game, specifcally to see what the Bayonetta and MadWorld developer will do with multiple players. If this delay is legit, I just hope they use the time to craft the best game possible. Until further notice Anarchy Reigns will be available for HD consoles this fall.
