After the conclusion of Luffy and Kaido's fight, One Piece fans wonder if the Wano arc is reaching its end. Also, the community is eager to see the aftermath of Onigashima's battle. Well, Chapter 1052 will take us a week forward to confirm which characters have died in the Wano arc.

The previous chapter of One Piece confirmed that Kaido and Big Mom aren't coming back. So, the Straw Hats Pirates can finally celebrate their victory against the Emperor of the Seas. Momonosuke is the new Shogun of the Wano Country, and Yamato has joined Luffy's crew, which is something we all saw coming. However, not every character survived the long battle on the island of Onigashima. According to some early spoilers for Chapter 1052, both Ashura and Izo are dead in One Piece.

Interestingly, spoilers for the next One Piece arrived a little early, and as per the leaks, Chapter 1052 is titled "New Morning." On the cover, we can see Germas encountering Caesar, and the chapter kicks off with Hawkins having a conversation with Drake. Hawkins confirms that he was talking about himself when he said that one person has only a 1% chance of survival. On top of that, Hawkins says that he predicted Kaido's defeat through his cards, but he didn't say anything because of his pride.

The chapter takes us seven days after the battle, where we see Wano recovering and making progress. At this point, we learn that Ashura and Izo didn't survive the whole ordeal. Yamato is with the Straw Hat Pirates, and similar to that, the chapter will offer a few other fanservice scenes. Finally, we see Ryokugyu, an admiral in the Marines, on his way to Wano.

Unfortunately, we'll not see Ryokugyu's face, but the Greenbull will be carrying a flower on his back, which he uses to push himself and fly. So, the chapter will end on a cliffhanger, making us wonder what Ryokugyu intends to do when he reaches Wano. Nevertheless, we'll get all our answers when the chapter officially arrives on Viz Media and Manga Plus this weekend.
