Eiichiro Oda's One Piece has finally entered the Last Saga after being on a break for an entire month. In the previous chapter, the Red hair pirates' captain, Shanks, arrived near the Wano Country and learned about Luffy's accomplishments. The pirate crew wonders if their captain would meet Luffy, but Shanks decides to move ahead to grab the One Piece instead. Now, every manga fan expects to see Luffy and Shanks' reunion in Chapter 1055.
Ryokugyu also arrives on the island, but he unexpectedly attacks the people of Wano as he wants the island to come under the World Government. Fortunately, Momonosuke, the new shogun of Wano, fights Greenbull to fulfill his duty toward the island. However, we've yet to see the conclusion to their fight in the upcoming chapter of the manga series.

Some spoilers for Chapter 1055 surfaced on the internet ahead of its official release. According to the leaks, the chapter will kick off with Ryokugyu and Momo's fight. At first, the Admiral gets the upper hand after he stabs Raizo with one of his branches. Yamato will try to step in, but the Shogun of Wano will ask her not to interfere. Finally, Momo will unleash his Bolo Breath, which proves powerful enough to push back Greenbull.
Apart from watching Momo and Greenbull's fight, we'll also get a history lesson on the Wano Country. Sukiyaki will take Robin and Law to a secret passageway, through which the duo will see the remains of the other land of Wanokuni. Apparently, Wanokuni was much bigger about 800 years ago, but a significant chunk of the land got submerged under the water.
The next chapter will also feature Luffy and Kid taking part in the celebration. They are still enjoying the festivities and getting their bellies full with all the food. But, suddenly, they sense Shanks' Haki throughout the Wano country. Momo, after demonstrating his power against Ryokugyu, also realizes that the red-haired pirate is near the island. While Shanks' ship steers away from Wanokuni, we see Luffy smiling and thinking about "a familiar face."
Obviously, it's unfortunate that Luffy and Shanks won't meet in Chapter 1055; however, let's not forget that their ultimate goal is the same, so they'll definitely cross paths in the upcoming chapters.
