What Happened Previously On One Piece
The previous chapter, titled "The Hero Deploys," sees the return of Kuma at the Red Line, which confuses everyone at first, but then everyone runs for their lives as he stands up. On Egghead island, Lucci denies following Marine's orders and tells Stussy that he doesn't consider Luffy an emperor. The scene then cuts to Labophase, where Shaka informs everyone of CPO, to which Lilith shows excitement and wants to avenge Atlas, but Shaka and Pythagoras deny it, stating their main objective is to save Dr. Vagapunk.
The chapter then introduces us to a mysterious ally, but Edison denies contacting that person, explaining its dreadful consequences. But, Vegapunk calls the ally anyway, and they agree to help them. Suddenly, the Frontier Dome's defenses go off, and CPO uses this opportunity to infiltrate Labophase. Meanwhile, Kaku tries to destroy Thousand Sunny, but Zoro is awake, and he stops his attack. The Dome is back online, but it might be too late to keep the CPOs out.
Luffy and others reunite with the group, while Bonnie is seen chasing the Vegapunk. She demands that Vegapunk turn Kuma back to normal, but he states that it's impossible to do so. At the end of the chapter, Kid's crew is heading toward Elbaf, and Garp arrives at G-14 to lead the mission to rescue Koby.
