Luffy and Mononosuke finally managed to reach their destination on time, despite all the struggles they had to face due to Mononosuke's fear of heights. Now that the two have returned to assist Yamato, fans are looking forward to an intense battle full of action. The preview for One Piece episode 1050 titled Two Dragons Face Off! Momonosuke's Determination! revealed Kaido and Mononosuke fighting in their dragon forms, while Nekomushi will return to his base form. The fans will also be updated on what's going on up on the rooftop.

What Happened Previously In One Piece Episode 1049?

Mononosuke continued to struggle due to his fear of heights; on the other hand, Kaido and Yamato continued fighting, and the latter managed to injure his father. Kaido mocked his son's resolve to save Wano by stating that the people of Wano would never trust him as he was his (Kaido's) son. He continued to scorn him by saying how he never had any friends. But Yamato denied it by bringing up Ace's name and also bringing up those childhood samurai into the conversation who helped him survive.

Kaido pointed out that all those who befriended him died, including the samurai, and Yamato blamed his father for their deaths. Kaido replied that they died as they were coming in his way to teach his son. The scene then cut to Luffy and Mononosuke, where we saw Luffy losing his cool and trying everything to make Mononosuke fly. Mononosuke finally took flight but closed his eyes while Luffy tried giving his directions. As a result, they crashed into the Performance Floor wall and broke the ceiling.

Mononosuke finally opened his eyes and noticed Kaido and Yamato on the rooftop. Yamato prepared his Shinsoku Hakujaku technique to attack his father, and Luffy joined him in Gear 4 and used his Snakeman: Jet Culverin technique, and their combined attack sent Kaido flying.
