After Luffy was previously beaten by Kaido and subsequently sent to prison, fans are dying to see the outcome of their next encounter which the series has been working up to.

One Piece is arguably one of the longest-running anime and manga series and though it has been ongoing for two decades the series shows no signs of slowing down, sitting at a hefty 8.8/10 on IMDB.

The popular show is only a handful of episodes away until Season 20's finale, episode 990, and as the episode count rises, so do tensions between The Straw Hats and Wano Country.

Preview of episode 987 revealed

The title of One Piece 987 is called 'Faithful Servant' and last week's episode showed Momonosuke proudly declare that he is a member of the Kozuki family just as he is about to be put to death by Kaido. However, in the last few minutes, he is rescued by the Nine Red Scabbards.

Episode 987 is expected to be a direct continuation of the events of the previous episodes and will first show a flashback with Kaido and Oden. It will then jump back to the present showing that Kaido's body was no pierced even though the Nine Red Scabbards stabbed him.

As everyone continues their fight, 'Big Mom' appears in front of Luffy and he tells her that he is there to take everyone down, immediately followed by a war between...everyone present.
