One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is illustrating itself with a brand new trailer revealed at Gamescom 2019. Bandai Namco is hyping up the game, with a mix of cinematics and gameplay focusing on the Whole Cake Island Arc.

We get to see Sanji leaving Luffy behind, gameplay featuring Luffy, Sanji, Jinbe, and Reiju. Jinbe was playable in previous One Piece Musou games as well, but this is the first time Reiju Vinsmoke is playable. The trailer ends with a boss fight featuring Luffy against Big Mom.

The trailer is included below. Bandai Namco Entertainment also announced One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 will have 6 new playable characters in total.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 was announced back in early July with a teaser trailer. This is the first game the series is getting in a long while so many fans are waiting for it. This is the usual Musou sauce but with some One Piece sprinkled on it, so you like it or hate it.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 might be a good way to wash away the kinda bad aftertaste left by One Piece World Seeker too, which wasn't particularly bad but pretty disappointing if you're a fan of the series. Speaking of which, World Seeker is getting DLC episodes featuring new characters to play other than Luffy: Zorro, Sabo, and Law.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 will be launching in 2020 on pretty much everything: Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
