The popularity of One Piece anime and manga is known to all. While the manga has already crossed the 1000 chapters milestone, the anime adaptation is close to the release of its 1000th episode. To celebrate this major milestone, Shueisha and Toei Animation will be releasing the brand new movie Red.

Teaser PV for One Piece Red Movie
The original creator of the One Piece series, Eiichiro Oda will be the creative supervisor new movie along with Goro Taniguchi who is set to direct the new film and Tsutomu Kuroiwa who will be providing the script. Here's the first teaser trailer for the One Piece Red film:
As you can see in the teaser and the title also seems to imply that Red-Haired Shanks will be playing the new character in the movie that plays a crucial role. Still, the teaser is too short to reveal exactly what kind of story One Piece Red will offer.
One Piece Red Release Date
The official release date for the One Piece Red film is August 6, 2022. But it is to be noted that this release date has been announced for Japan only, and the plans for international release are unclear at this moment.
