Bandai Namco released new screenshots of the upcoming open world adventure game One Piece: World Seeker, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam in 2018.

The screenshots give a preview of the open world that players will be able to explore as Luffy, the leader of the group of pirates known as the Straw Hat crew. Based on the Shonen manga and anime series, One Piece: World Seeker is the first entry in the series to feature this type of open world exploration, with previous titles focusing on mission-based level design.

One Piece: World Seeker is played in the third person and will feature many environments that fans will recognize from the franchise’s other forms of media. Players will be able to visit islands and fight enemy pirates while they attempt to plunder and acquire treasure for their own gain. Additionally, the game will feature a soundtrack similar to that of the anime.

In case you missed it, Bandai Namco released a new trailer showing more of the open world and also giving an insight into the adventure that awaits players. You can also check out the most recent combat trailer.
