Outside of major titles like Elden Ring or Tales of Arise, Bandai Namco Entertainment also publishes a plethora of 3D fighters based on various manga properties. The most recent examples of this formula are My Hero: One's Justice, which came out in 2018, and Jump Force, which came out in February. Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the next PC, PS4, and Xbox One game of this style - One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. Check out its reveal trailer below:

As it follows the same formula as Bandai Namco's other fighters, players won't simply be punching everything as Saitama in this game. Instead, it is a 3v3 fighter like this year's Jump Force where characters like Saitama, Genos, Hellish Blizzard, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, and Mumen Rider will all be playable and will feature their own fighting styles. According to Associate Brand Manager Abelina Villegas, the game is intended to appeal to both fans and newcomers. While it's not the style of game I would have liked to see One Punch Man adapted into, other fans of the franchise and those who adore Bandai Namco Entertainment's 3v3 fighters such as Jump Force will probably be pleased.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows doesn't have a release date, but we do know it is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It is also worth noting that the PC release will be digital only.
