After a month-long hiatus, the time has finally come for the release of One Punch Man Chapter 171. The new chapter will be available later this week, and will finally pick up where the intense Chapter 170 left off last month.

After a gruesome fight in the last few chapters, fans can expect the upcoming chapters to be more about discussions and casual talks. Garou reunites with his master Bang, and they both have a catch-up. In the meantime, Tareo has decided to stand up against the bullies after being inspired by Garou.

Whilst in the Heroes Association, Sitch and Sekingar talk about the situation concerning Bang and Garou. At the end of the chapter, Saitama and Genos are at an unknown place where someone is watching them from a distance. Fans were left wondering who that person might be, and we might get an answer in the upcoming chapter.

One Punch Man Chapter 170 Recap

The previous chapter starts with Garou giving his view on rights and wrongs in society. He is then shown sitting in a police station with Bang, after which he apologizes for his previous deeds. After getting out of the police station, Bang decides that Garou should apologize to all the victims he hurt during hero hunting.

The scene then cuts to the past, where we see Garou on the training grounds after being found by Bang. He then asks Bang about Tareo, to which he replies that he is doing well. We then see Tareo in the playground, where the bullies are picking him up, but he stands against them and calls himself 'Garouman The Hero'. Waganma arrives at the park and asks him if he would play video games with him. Tareo asks if he could also invite his other friends over, to which Waganma agrees.

Garou asks Bang if he could arrange his fight with some of the heroes and states that if he could take all of them in order, then he could awaken without the monsterization process. The scene then shifts to Heroes Association, where Sitch reads Bangs's resignation and tells Sekinger about his decision to become Garou's guardian. Bang also states his wish to introduce Garou to the association, but Sitch gets concerned about resistance from the other heroes.

Garou and Bang continue to chit-chat, and the latter asks if he likes someone. Garou hesitates but then confesses that he likes the actress who plays Gau Yellow in Gauranger. At the end of the chapter, we see Saitama and Genos at an unknown place, where someone is keeping an eye on him.
